I began beading when I was 12, am now 30. I vary in several bead stitches, including peyote, brick stitch, herringbone, many tubular forms and other variations.
I mainly work with delica seed beads, just started working with size 15/0 which are even smaller. I make jewelry and non jewelry items, and have many different pieces, in many different themes. My beaded items range from fun to unique, to jewelry to small tapestries, to whatever I can bead or think of.
My sister is always telling me I need to find something to do that isn't so time consuming, but there is something about working with such tiny little beads, and creating items out of it, that has me addicted.
For the last five years or so, I started creating my own bead patterns. I mainly design nature and animal related stuff, as that holds interest for me. Most of my patterns are in peyote, although I do have some in loom.
